About Us

After years of dreaming of leaving the "big city", we have recently established the beginnings of our Mini Farm Homestead.

We have learned (and are still learning) from those who have shared their wisdom so freely. We have listened to the "old timers". Now we strive to encourage those that wish to follow and to enrich the lives of those that have come before us.
We are a couple from the “Windy City” that wanted to get away from the stress and hustle of the dog-eat-dog world. After careful research, and many miles of traveling the back roads of the hill country, we finally found our dream come true in Missouri on Bull Shoals Lake.

Our goals are to build our own home and strive to be as self-sufficient as possible, while we enjoy our beautiful forested land in the Ozarks.
